The day before our recent major snowstorm, I went to Trader Joe’s to stock up. My earliest food shopping memory occurred in a small town in New Jersey. Here in the Baltimore region, there are food shopping options for everyone. For the gourmet-minded and health-obsessed, there are Whole Foods and its less expensive cousin, Trader Joe’s. My mall-walking friend Donna shops regularly at Trader Joe’s, especially for their prepared soups, bananas and chocolate.
